What is a simple dessert? A dessert is a sweet preparation, usually intended as a snack or sometimes even as a full meal. It often contains fresh fruit, honey, milk/cream. A typical filling includes some kind of fruit (fresh, canned, or dried) and some kind of fat (butter). Common fillings also include chocolate (or more generally cocoa), nuts, biscuits, and ice cream.

2 cups of flour

1 cup sugar

1.5 tsp salt

1/3 tsp baking soda

2 large eggs, room temperature (beaten) 1 cup vegetable oil 3 Tbsp buttermilk or yoghurt (if you can’t find it just use milk with 1/4 tsp vinegar) 2 tsp vanilla extract 1 cup chopped walnuts 2 cups shredded coconut

Line the cookie sheet with foil and spray lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Preheat the oven to 350F. In a mixing bowl combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Mix until combined well and set aside for later use. In another mixing bowl add oil gradually while beating the mixture until it’s been mixed well. Add eggs, buttermilk, oil, vanilla extract. Beat until well combined. Slowly add the flour mixture to the egg mixture while stirring Add coconut and walnuts Pour batter evenly on the cookie sheet Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown Let it cool before cutting into bars

2 cups of sugar 1 cup of water a few drops of a natural red food colouring Mix all ingredients above in a saucepan on medium heat Bring it to a boil, stirring occasionally Reduce heat and simmer for 15 more minutes Remove from heat Add strawberries using slotted spoon Let cool covered overnight Store refrigerated up to 2 weeks.

How to Make Strawberry Ice cream?

Warmer weather and warmer foods usually come hand in hand. This easy and quick recipe is perfect for a warm summer day served with fresh, homemade waffles and a cup of coffee or hot cocoa. Ingredients: 3/4 cup cake flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature) 1/2 cup white sugar 3 large egg whites (room temperature) 2 cups whole milk Plain yoghurt for topping Strawberry sauce heated till warm (comes out as thin as fondue) Fresh strawberries


Preheat oven to 425 degrees F Mix together the flours, salt, and baking soda in a medium bowl Set aside Beat the room temperature butter and sugar until it’s light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes Slowly add the egg whites while beating until combined Add half of the flour mixture to wet ingredients, then add in milk while mixing Beat until smooth then stop Mix in rest of flour mixture until well incorporated Pour into waffle iron Cook for 5 to 6 minutes or golden brown Remove from heat Top with yoghurt, strawberry sauce, and fresh strawberries.
