To stay healthy is your choice, that’s your decision. Beside of labels, there are factors you need to consider for you to start and stay a healthy lifestyle.

Factors you need to know:

  • An equal size of snacks will give you the equal nutrient your body needs.
  • Pick a food or snacks that are low in fat and sugar. Always check the label and choose the snacks that are rich in fiber and water
  • Eat fruits, vegetable, low-fat dairy, and whole-grain snacks.
  • Limit yourself to drink sodas or drinks contains sugar
  • Choose fresh fruits that fruit flavored drink.
  • Make sure to eat foods or snacks that have a protein and carbohydrates.  

As much as possible, we limit ourselves to that sugary food that increased our body weight. There are many snacks where you can easily get too many calories which is not good for your health. This may lead to diseases like diabetes. To stay healthy, it’s a good choice to eat fruits and veggies. There are full of vitamins and low in fat and calories. You can try some whole wheat crackers, yogurts or cheeses.

1.   Banana Monkey Toast

Ingredients:

  • Peanut butter
  • Sliced banana
  • Wheat bread
  • Chia seeds
  • Honey

How to Prepare: Place the toasted wheat bread into a place, spread some peanut butter and put sliced banana. Drizzle with chia seeds and a little bit of honey. 

2. Cucumber Salad

Ingredients:

  • Cucumber
  • Tomatoes
  • Onion
  • Feta
  • Black olives
  • Lemon juice
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and Pepper

How to Prepare:

Chop some cucumber, onion, tomatoes, black olives and feta. Get a medium bowl, then mix the chopped ingredients. Put olive oil and lemon juice then sprinkle some salt and pepper to add some taste.

3. Yogurt Berry Toast

How to Prepare:

Prepare the toast whole wheat bread, spread some yogurt on the top. Place the berries, then sprinkle some chia seed.

4. Corn and Bean Salsa

Ingredients:

  • Cooked corn
  • Tomato
  • Bell pepper
  • Black beans
  • Onion
  • Apple cider vinegar
  • Lime Juice
  • Salt and Pepper

How to Prepare:

Blend the corn, chopped tomatoes, black beans, chopped bell peppers, and onion into a bowl. Flavor it with apple cider vinegar, lime juice and enough amount of salt and pepper.

5. Egg Salad Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Diced pickles
  • Olive-oil Mayo
  • Spicy mustard
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Wheat Bread

How to Prepare:

Mix the hard-boiled egg, pickles, a spoon of olive oil mayo, and spicy mustard. Put some spread mixture into the bread and add some lettuce leaves.
